MUSE BIOGRAPHY


Muse, a British band was formed in 1994, in Devon, England. Matthew Bellamy of Muse members (vocalist, guitarist, pianist), Dominic Howard (drums), and Chris Wolstenholme (bass). After the launch of their fourth album, Morgan Nicholls also often performed in the concert of Muse as a keyboardist and backing vocals.

The band combines different streams of music, including classical flow, modern, and even Latin in their songs.

Fame was achieved with ease. In early appearances, many people in the UK music industry considers the music of Muse too much like Radiohead. However, the U.S. company, Maverick Records, Muse realize appear several times in the United States, then signed them in 1998.

After coming back from America, Taste Media Muse get the contract for the record companies in Europe and Australia. John Leckie, who produced albums for Radiohead, Stone Roses, "Weird Al" Yankovic and The Verve, made the first album producer Muse, SHOWBIZ.

The launch of this album was followed by the performance of the band supporting the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers in the United States. In 1999 and 2000 Muse played at music festivals in Europe, and performed well in Australia, and collected a lot of new fans in Western Europe.

ORIGIN OF Symmetry, album-2 Muse, released on 18 June 2001. This album contains music that is more heavy and dark, with Wolstenholme bass voice, heavy and distorted.

On the second album, Muse experimented with musical instruments that are not commonly used, such as a church organ, Mellotron and animal bones. In the February 2006 edition of Q Magazine put the album ORIGIN of Symmetry in the sequence 74 of the 100 best albums of all time by fans.

3rd album Muse, Absolution was released, show, on September 29, 2003. This album is still mixing classical elements with hard-rock style of their songs like Butterflies and Hurricanes and Ruled by secrecy. Absolution theme is much darker - about the end of the world.

With strong criticism in the UK and the new contract in the United States, Muse waltz with their first tour in international stage. For about a year, Muse visiting Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada and France. They also released five singles that Time Is Running Out, Hysteria, Sing for Absolution, Stockholm Syndrome, and Butterflies and Hurricanes.

Muse won the award category "Best Live Act" at the BRIT Awards in 2005. Dated July 2, 2005, Muse participated in the Live 8 concert in Paris, they display Time Is Running Out and Hysteria.
 
Muse released their fourth album, Black Holes and Revelations AND, dated July 3, 2006. Unlike previous albums, this album displays the type of music more diverse, ranging from classical to techno. Along with the launch of the album, jg Muse released their first single, Supermassive Black Hole, which inhabit a direct number 4 in the UK charts.

Muse begin their album promotion tour in the BBC Radio 1's One Big Weekend. After appearing in several TV programs, they continue the album promotional tour in Europe and North America. During the tour, Muse also released 2 singles again, the Starlight and Knights of Cydonia.
