Biography of this time I'll review a popular band from the United States. The name of this band is Green Day. Green Day is a group of punk rock music genre that originated from California, United States and consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong (lead singer, guitarist), Mike Dirnt (base, supporting singer), and Tre Cool (drummer, singer supporters). Green Day has been recognized in the music world because of their success in restoring and making punk rock genre popular again, along with the band of the 1990s such as The Offspring and Rancid.
Their music has influenced many wing punk bands, such as Blink 182 and Good Charlotte.
This band has sold more than 50 million albums in the United States and more than 100 million albums worldwide. Green Day has won numerous awards, such as the MTV Video Music Awards and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, as well as various other awards, and has won 3 Grammy Awards (Best Alternative Album for Dookie, Best Rock Album for American Idiot, and Record of the Year for Boulevard of Broken Dreams).
